The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12A(1) and (4) and 105(6) of, and paragraphs 1 and 3(1)(b) of Schedule 7A to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.
This Order may be cited as the Lanarkshire Primary Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2003 and shall come into force on 23rd May 2003.
Amendment of the principal Order
2.
In article 3(2)(a) of the Lanarkshire Primary Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1998[2], after "Hamilton," insert "Stonehouse Hospital".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
The Lanarkshire Primary Care National Health Service Trust, which was established by the Lanarkshire Primary Care National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1998 (S.I. 1998/2723), as amended, has the power to provide goods and services for the purpose of the Health Service at, from or through a number of hospitals named in the Order. The purpose of this Order is to add Stonehouse Hospital to those hospitals named.
