The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 4(3) of the Road Traffic Reduction Act 1997[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and after consultation with such associations of local authorities as appear to them to be concerned in accordance with section 4(4), of that Act hereby make the following Order: Citation and extent 1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Reduction Act 1997 (Commencement) (Scotland) Order 2000. (2) This order shall extend to Scotland only. Appointed day 2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the Road Traffic Reduction Act 1997 is 21st April 2000.
