Objected, That an enrolment could not proceed in respect the claim was not lodged till four o'clock P. M. of 6th August, and the freeholders met before two o'clock of 6th October, so that the two kalendar months had not run. Answered, It is enough that either the day on which the notice is given be free or the day to which it is given, and if either the 6th of August or the 6th of October be computed, the two months will be complete. The Lords repelled the objection.
