The Lords thought, that the manses of Deans and other dignified Ministers were not included in the act 1663; but the Minister of Old Macher or Old Aberdeen having now become a stipendiary Minister;—found his heritors bound to repair his manse; but found that they might either repair the old manse or build a new one, and take the materials of the old to themselves, the new manse to be worth L.1000 Scots.
