Coming into operation
1st October 2021
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Planning (Development Management) (Temporary Modifications) (Coronavirus) (Amendment No.2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2021.
2.—(1) In the Planning (Development Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015( 3), in paragraph (3) of regulation 5A (temporary relaxation of pre-application community consultation requirements during Coronavirus emergency period)( 4) for “30th September 2021” substitute “31st March 2022”.

These Regulations amend the temporary modifications to the Planning (Development Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 ( S.R. 2015 No. 71).
Regulation 2 amends the Planning (Development Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 to amend the “emergency period” end date to 31st March 2022.

Regulation 5A was inserted by regulation 2 of S.R. 2020 No. 72and amended by regulation 2 of S.R. 2020 No. 208and by regulation 2 of S.R. 2021 No. 57
