1. These Regulations may be cited as The Westlink (Busways) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 and shall come into operation on 11th June 2014.
2. (1) The Westlink (Busways) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008(4) is amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) In Article 3(a) for the word "northerly" substitute the words "north-easterly".
(3) For the Schedule substitute the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.

Regulation 2(3)
Regulation 1(2)
1. 802 metres of segregated road extending in a generally north-easterly direction from its junction with the A12 Broadway roundabout to a point 70 metres east of the footbridge spanning Westlink near Roden Street, Belfast.
2. 180 metres of slip road extending in a generally westerly direction from a point 70 metres east of the footbridge spanning Westlink near Roden Street, Belfast, to a point 109 metres west of that footbridge."

These Regulations amend The Westlink (Busways) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008 ("the Regulations") by extending the length of the busways.
A person who acts in contravention of the Regulations shall be guilty of an offence under Article 20(4) of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine exceeding level 4 on the standard scale (£2,500).
