1. These Regulations may be cited as the Introductory Tenancies (Abandonment Notices) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 and shall come into operation on 17th December 2010.
2. The following notice is prescribed for the purposes of Article 19A(3) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 2003-”

These Regulations prescribe the form of notice to be served by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive or a registered housing association where the landlord, having reasonable grounds for believing that a dwelling-“house let under an introductory tenancy is unoccupied and that the tenant does not intend to occupy it as their home, has entered the dwelling-“house and wishes to take possession of it.
