The Department for Employment and Learning makes the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 92(3)(f) of the Industrial Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1992[
1] and now vested in it[

Citation and commencement
1.
These Rules may be cited as the Industrial Court (Proceedings) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2007 and shall come into operation on 3rd June 2007.
Appearance in certain proceedings before the Industrial Court by counsel or solicitor
2.
For the purposes of Article 92(3)(f) of the Industrial Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 any party to a case under a provision listed in the Schedule may appear by counsel or solicitor in proceedings before the Industrial Court.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Rules)
These Rules allow for any party to be represented by counsel or solicitor in proceedings before the Industrial Court arising from the legislative provisions listed in the Schedule.
