2005 No. 77 (C. 7)
INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION CONTROL
The Industrial Pollution Control (1997 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005
The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Article 1(2) of the Industrial Pollution Control (Northern Ireland) Order 1997[
1], and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1.
This Order may be cited as the Industrial Pollution Control (1997 Order) (Commencement No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005.
Appointed Day
2.
The day appointed for the coming into operation of the following provisions of the Industrial Pollution Control (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 namely -
(a) in Schedule 5, the entry relative to the Alkali, &c. Works Regulation Act 1906[2]; and
(b) Article 35(2) so far as it relates to that entry,
shall be 3rd April 2005.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order repeals, with effect from 3rd April 2005, the Alkali, &c. Works Regulation Act 1906 in so far as not already repealed.
