CRIMINAL INJURIES
Criminal Injuries Compensation (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2002
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred on him by Article 1(2) of the Criminal Injuries Compensation (Northern Ireland) Order 2002[
1], hereby makes the following Order:
1.
This Order may be cited as the Criminal Injuries Compensation (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2002.
2.
Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Criminal Injuries Compensation (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 shall come into operation on 9th April 2002

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Commencement Order brings into operation the provisions of the Criminal Injuries Compensation (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 which are necessary for the Secretary of State to make the Scheme for the payment of criminal injuries compensation under the Order.
