The Adoption (Intercountry Aspects) Act (Northern Ireland) 2001 (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002
The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety[
1], in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 16(2) of the Adoption (Intercountry Aspects) Act (Northern Ireland) 2001[
2] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation
1.
- (1) This Order may be cited as the Adoption (Intercountry Aspects) Act (Northern Ireland) 2001 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2002.
(2) In this Order:
"the Act" means the Adoption (Intercountry Aspects) Act (Northern Ireland) 2001.
Appointed day
2.
The 22nd February 2002 is the day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Act specified in the Schedule.

This Order brings into operation on 22nd February 2002 the remaining provisions of the Adoption (Intercountry Aspects) Act (Northern Ireland) 2001 not already in operation.
