107. A council may (a)contribute towards the expenses of any voluntary body which carries on activities within the district of the council, being activities for the purpose of (i)furthering the development of trade, industry or commerce in the district, or (ii)encouraging the pursuit by persons residing in the district of interests of a cultural or artistic nature; (b)contribute towards the expenses of any association which carries on activities calculated to assist the development of tourist traffic in Northern Ireland.
