Justice may suspend or revoke licences of slaughter-houses, &c. or forbid use of registered slaughter-houses, &c. 132. Where by this or the special Act the commissioners are empowered to do anything by special order only, it shall not be lawful for them to do such things unless the resolution to do the same have been agreed to by the commissioners in some meeting whereof special notice has been given, and has been confirmed in a subsequent meeting held not sooner than four weeks after the preceding meeting, and which subsequent meeting has been advertised once at least in each of the weeks intervening between the two meetings in some newspaper circulating within the limits of the special Act, and of which special notice in writing has been given to each of the commissioners.
