Suspension of dividends where another tramway is authorized, or time is extended. 30. Where an Order in Council authorizes an existing tramway company, being possessed of a tramway actually open for traffic, to make another tramway, or extends the time limited for the completion by a tramway company of their tramway, then and in every such case the Order shall provide that after the expiration of a time thereby limited (not exceeding in the former case five and in the latter case three years from the passing of the confirming Act) the payment of dividend on the company's ordinary capital shall be suspended until the tramway to which the Order relates is open for traffic.
