Limitation of actions founded on instruments under seal and of certain other actions. 12. The following actions shall not be brought after the expiration of twelve years from the date on which the cause of action accrued: (a)an action upon an instrument under seal other than an action upon an instrument under seal to recover (i)arrears of a rentcharge or of a conventional rent; or (ii)any principal sum of money secured by a mortgage or other charge; or <(iii)arrears of interest in respect of any sum of money secured by a mortgage or other charge; or <(iv)arrears of an annuity charged on personal property; (b)an action to enforce an award where the arbitration agreement is under seal; (c)an action to recover a debt created by sub-section (2) of section twenty or by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Companies Act (Northern Ireland), 1932.
