Provision as to infants, lunatics, &c. 49. All powers given by this Act, and all applications to the Court under this Act, and consents to and notifications respecting such applications, may be executed, made, or given by, and all notices under this Act may be given to guardians on behalf of infants, and by or to committees on behalf of lunatics, and by or to trustees or assignes of the property of bankrupts, debtors in liquidation, or insolvents: Provided nevertheless, that in the cases of infant or lunatic tenants-in-tail no application to the Court or consent to or notification respecting any application may be made or given by any guardian or committee without the special direction of the Court.
