1.(1) Subject to the provisions of this section the limit on the market value of houses in respect of which advances may be made under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts (NorthernIreland), 1899 to 1923, shall be increased from twelve hundred pounds to seventeen hundred and fifty pounds, and accordingly ... residue amends s.5 of 1923 c.30 (NI) (2) ... the Ministry of Health and Local Government may by order made with the consent of the Ministry of Finance alter the said limit to such other amount as may appear to the first mentioned Ministry to be expedient; and as from the date on which any order so made comes into operation the said section five shall have effect subject to the provisions of the order. Subs.(3) rep. by SLR 1980 (4) Any order made under this section shall, as soon as may be after it is made, be laid before each House of Parliament. If either House of Parliament, within the statutory period next after any order made as aforesaid has been laid before such House, resolves that the order shall be annulled, the order shall, after the date of the resolution, be void, but without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done thereunder or to the making of a new order.
