Power of inspector to conduct proceedings before justices. 16. An inspector, if so authorised in writing by the Ministry of Commerce, may, although he is not a barrister-at-law or solicitor, prosecute, conduct or defend before a court of summary jurisdiction or justice any information, complaint or other proceeding arising under this Act or in the discharge of his duty as inspector.
