Oath and security. 4. Every under-sheriff appointed under this Act shall, before entering into the execution of his office, take the oath by law required to be taken by under-sheriffs and give security for the due performance of the duties of his office to such amount and in such manner as may be prescribed by the Lord Chancellor.
