Power for Board of Trade to make rules. 17.(1) The Board of Trade may make rules (but as to fees with the concurrence of the Treasury) concerning any of the following matters: (a)The fees to be paid to the registrar under this Act, so that they do not exceed the sum of [25p] for the registration of any one statement; (b)The forms to be used under this Act; (c)The duties to be performed by any registrar under this Act; (d)The performance by assistant registrars and other officers of acts by this Act required to be done by the registrar; (e)Generally the conduct and regulation of registration under this Act, and any matters incidental thereto. (2) All fees payable in pursuance of any such rules shall be applied as the Treasury may direct.
