Causing discharge of prisoner under pretended authority. 32.(1) Every person who knowingly and unlawfully, under colour of any pretended authority, directs or procures the discharge of any prisoner not entitled to be so discharged shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction thereof on indictment be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years. (2) Any prisoner so discharged shall be deemed to have escaped.
