Extension of powers to transfer proceedings in Prize Courts. 2. Section one of the Prize Courts Act, 1915 (which relates to the transfer of proceedings against a ship or cargo from one prize court to another), shall be extended so as to apply, with the necessary modifications, to all proceedings pending at any time in a prize court, whether or not the proceedings are against any ship or cargo: Provided that where the proceedings are against a person in the service of His Majesty, or of the Government of any part of His Majesty's Dominions, or of any Government department, the court shall (except in the case of proceedings in the High Court of Justice in England) on the application of the proper officer of the Crown, make an order transferring the proceedings to another prize court, and the said section one, as amended by this section, shall have effect accordingly.
