Advisory Committees. 4.(1) The Council may constitute committees (in this section referred to as "advisory committees") to examine and report to the Council or any of its committees on matters connected with the recruitment and training of nurses and midwives. (2) The Council may appoint to advisory committees such persons, not being members of the Council, as it thinks fit. (3) The Council shall appoint one of the members of an advisory committee to be the chairman of the committee and may appoint one of the Council's officers to be the secretary of the committee. (4) Subject to subsection (3), an advisory committee may regulate its own proceedings (including quorum). (5) An advisory committee shall be dissolved when it completes the task entrusted to it.
