Admission of patients to specified hospitals. 110.(1) Where an application for admission, duly completed in accordance with Part II, is made in respect of any patient, [the Ministry] may by order in writing direct that that patient shall be admitted to any hospital specified in the order. (2) Where [the Ministry] issue an order under sub-section (1) (a)sub-section (2) of section thirty-one shall apply in relation to the patient as if he had been transferred to the hospital specified in the order in pursuance of sub-section (1) of that section; and (b)it shall be the duty of the [Health and Social Services Board administering] the hospital specified in the order to admit the patient to that hospital.
