Persons of unsound mind and persons of weak mind. 61.(1) In the case of a person of unsound mind, whether so found by inquisition or not so found, the Committee of his estate may represent him for all or any of the purposes of this Act or, if such a Committee has not been appointed, a guardian appointed by the court may so represent him. (2) In the case of a person of weak mind who is temporarily incapable of managing his affairs, the guardian appointed under the Lunacy Regulation (Ireland) Act 1871 may represent him for all or any of the purposes of this Act or, if such a guardian has not been appointed, a guardian appointed by the court may so represent him.
