64. Where it appears to [the High Court] to be for the lunatic's benefit, [it] may by order direct any estate or interest of the lunatic in land or stock, either in possession, reversion, remainder, contingency, or expectancy, and either existing or which may exist at any future time, to stand and be charged with any moneys advanced or to be advanced, or due or to become due, to any person for or in respect of any of the purposes or matters mentioned in the sixty-ninth section of this Act, and either with or without interest on such moneys; and [it] may also by order direct any such estate and interest to be dealt with and disposed of in such manner as [it] shall consider expedient for any of the purposes aforesaid, or for securing any moneys advanced or to be advanced for such purposes or any of them, and with or without interest for the same; and every charge and disposition directed or made by or in pursuance of any such order shall be valid and effectual to all intents and purposes and shall take effect accordingly, subject only to any prior charge to which the estate or interest affected thereby may at the date of such order be subject.
