Upon death of lunatic the committee to bring in statement of facts. 52. Upon the death of any lunatic the committee of his estate shall bring in and lodge in the [Office of Care and Protection] a statement of facts in which he shall set forth the date of the death of the deceased lunatic, whether the deceased lunatic had executed a will or died intestate, what are the claims and demands against the estate of the lunatic in the matter of the lunacy for costs, maintenance, or otherwise, and who is or are the heirs, next of kin, executors, or trustees (if any) nominated by, and the devisees of the real estate named by the will of the deceased lunatic, and the master shall thereupon report to [the High Court] the fact and date of the death of the deceased lunatic, whether the deceased lunatic had executed a will or died intestate, what are the claims and demands against the estate of the lunatic in the matter of the lunacy for costs, maintenance, and otherwise, and who are interested in or entitled to the real or personal estate of the lunatic as heirs-at-law or next of kin or as the trustees or devisees named in the will of the deceased lunatic, and what proceedings (if any) he would recommend for the purpose of winding up the said lunacy matter, which report shall be settled by the master in the presence of and upon notice to such person or persons as the master shall by his ruling, to be made upon hearing the statement of facts previously presented by the committee of the estate, have directed.
