Where alleged lunatic demands a jury High Court may examine him as to competency, and order a jury. 14. Where the alleged lunatic demands an inquiry before a jury [the High Court] shall in [its] order for inquiry direct such inquiry to be sped before a jury, unless [it] be satisfied by personal examination of the alleged lunatic that he is not mentally competent to form and express a wish for an inquiry before a jury; and [the High Court] may, where [it] shall deem it necessary, after presentation of the petition for inquiry, or the order to be made upon any report as aforesaid, and for the purpose of personal examination, require the alleged lunatic to attend [it] at such convenient time and place as [it] may appoint.
