Appearance of parties before commission and sub-commission. 52. Subject to rules made under this Act, it shall be lawful for the party to any proceeding before the land commission or any sub-commission, or, with the leave of such commission or sub-commission, for the father or husband of such party, or, for a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Judicature in Ireland (but not a solicitor retained as an advocate by such first-mentioned solicitor), or for a barrister retained by or on behalf of such party and instructed by his or her solicitor, but without any right of exclusive audience or preaudience, to appear and address such commission or sub-commission and conduct the case subject to such rules and regulations as may be from time to time prescribed.
