Owner of any estate may apply for a sale. 44. In any case where any person shall be seised or possessed of any estate in land as owner thereof, (save a trustee, other than a trustee for sale,) it shall be lawful for such person to apply to the Court for the sale of such estate under the provisions of this Act.
