Provision for cases not coming within the provisions of clause 34. 50. In every case not coming within the provisions of clause thirty-four, when the tenancy determines, otherwise than by the act of the landlord, at any time before the day on which the rent would become payable, the landlord at the time of such determination (unless it is otherwise agreed) shall be entitled to a reasonable proportion of the rent according to the time that has elapsed from the commencement of the tenancy, or the last gale day, to the day of the determination of such tenancy, including such day.
