Duration of renewed licence. 17.(1) Subject to subsection (2), on the renewal of a licence it shall, unless suspended, remain in force until (a)if it is renewed within the three months immediately preceding the expiration of the then current licensing year, the expiration of the next following licensing year, or (b)in any other case, the expiration of the then current licensing year. (2) Subsection (1) shall not prejudice the operation of sections 10(2)(c), 16, 22(b), 23(8) and 25, under which a licence may, or may be deemed to, continue in force after the time when it would otherwise expire.
