Shorthand writer to take oath. 88. Before such shorthand writer shall act in the performance of the duties imposed on him, he shall take an oath in the presence of one of the judges of the Court to the effect following; (that is to say,) "I (A.B.) do swear, that I will faithfully and truly take down the evidence to be given by persons to be examined in the matter of , and will deliver true and faithful transcripts thereof as the Court shall direct."][
