298. Every bankrupt shall be entitled to retain as excepted articles (a)such articles of wearing apparel [and such articles of household furniture, that is to say,] furniture, bedding and household equipment as appear to the Official Assignee or the trustee in bankruptcy, as the case may be, to be essential for the domestic purposes of the bankrupt, his spouse and his dependants residing with him, or any of them; (b)tools and implements of trade to the value of fifty pounds or of such greater amount as may be fixed by [rules] under [the Judgments Enforcement (Northern Ireland) Order 1981] in relation to tools and implements of trade of a judgment debtor exempted from seizure under [that Order]; Inventory of the remainder of the bankrupt's household funiture, &c.
