No person liable upon act of bankruptcy committed more than six months before petition, &c. 115. No person shall be liable to be declared a bankrupt by reason of any act of bankruptcy committed more than six months prior to the filing of the petition of bankruptcy [or by reason of an act of bankruptcy such as is mentioned in paragraph (5A) or (5B) of section 21 of the Bankruptcy (Ireland) Amendment Act 1872 (certificate of unenforceability; order staying enforcement in multiple debt cases) where, as the case may be, the certificate of unenforceability has been set aside under [Articles 13(g)(iii) and 21 of the Judgments Enforcement (Northern Ireland) Order 1981] or the order staying enforcement has ceased to have effect by virtue of [Article 14(2)], or on the expiration of an extended period fixed by an order under [Article 14(3), of that Order]]; and no adjudication of bankruptcy shall be deemed invalid by reason of any act of bankruptcy prior to the debt of the petitioning creditor. Proceedings in bankruptcy to originate by petition to the Court.
