8.(1) There shall be established a fund to be called the Industrial Enterprise Fund, which shall be under the control and management of the Ministry and shall be used, in accordance with the provisions of this Part, for the purpose of making grants and loans with the object of assisting and encouraging industrial enterprise, the development of industry, and training for industrial management. (2) There shall be issued to the Industrial Enterprise Fund out of the Reserve Fund (established pursuant to section 21 of the Exchequer and Financial Provisions Act (Northern Ireland) 1950), as the Ministry of Finance may direct, a sum not exceeding three hundred and twenty thousand pounds. (3) Any sums from time to time standing to the credit of the Industrial Enterprise Fund which are not immediately required for the purposes thereof shall be invested in such manner as the Ministry, with the approval of the Ministry of Finance, may direct, and any interest or profit arising on such investment shall be added to the Fund and may be used for the purposes thereof.
