An Act to consolidate the Health Service Contributions Acts (Northern Ireland) 1957 and 1961 and certain related enactments. [24th March 1966] The Act was repealed by the Social Security Act 1973 (c.38) but the Social Security (Consequential Provisions) Act 1975 (c.18) provided that regulations could continue in force such of its provisions as might be required for transitional purposes, etc. The following provisions have been continued in force (a)sections 1(4) (payments of contributions towards cost of health service), 2(1) to (3) and (7) (collection, etc. of contributions) and 3 (financial provisions) by the Social Security Finance (Transitional) Regs. (NI) 1975 (SR 1975/110); and (b)section 2(5) (no benefit to be deducted from any repayment of health service contributions paid in error) by the Social Security (Contributions) Regs. (NI) 1979 (SR 1979/186)
