18.(1) Subject to subsection (2), a person shall not, either by himself or by any servant or agent of his, send or attempt to send any produce to which this Part applies out of Northern Ireland (a)except under the authority of, and in accordance with the conditions specified in, a licence issued to him under this Part and then in force; and (b)unless the produce conforms to such requirements as to standards of quality, and such requirements for the purposes of inspection, as may be prescribed. (2) Subsection (1) shall not apply to a person who on any occasion sends or attempts to send out of Northern Ireland produce to which this Part applies, if the weight of that produce together with the weight of any container or package in which it is contained does not exceed such weight as may be prescribed.
