Power to permit use of buildings for public purpose. 7. The Admiralty may from time to time permit Greenwich Hospital or any part thereof, with the appurtenances, to be occupied and used temporarily for the purposes of the naval service or of any department of Her Majesty's Government, or for the benefit of persons engaged or who have been engaged in seafaring pursuits, with or without requiring a rent, and on such terms respecting repairs and other matters as the Admiralty think fit; but so that the whole of the buildings of the hospital and their appurtenances shall be at all times available for the purposes to which the same would have been applicable if this section had not been enacted.
