No tenant in dower, bare trustee, heir, executor, &c. (except as hereafter mentioned) to be protector. 25. Provided always, that [no woman in respect of her dower, and] (except in the case herein-after provided for of a bare trustee under a settlement made before the thirty-first day of October one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four) no bare trustee, heir, executor, administrator, or assign, in respect of any estate taken by him as such bare trustee, heir, executor, administrator, or assign, shall be the protector of a settlement.
