Voting age. 2.(1) For the purposes of the principal Act, a person shall be of voting age if he is of the age of eighteen or over; and, if otherwise qualified, a person who is of voting age on the date of the poll (a)at a parliamentary election; or (b)at a local election where the poll is held before the end of the twelve months following the day on which the register used at the poll is required to be published; Subs.(2)(5) insert s.2A in, substitute s.130(4) of, and amend schs.1, 7 to 1962 c.14 (NI) S.3 rep. by SLR 1980. S.4 rep. by 1971 c.4 (NI) s.5(3) sch. S.5 (rep. in pt.) amends s.15 of 1962 c.14 (NI). S.6 rep. by SLR 1980
