Account of the Civil Contingencies Fund. 24.(1) The Ministry shall, after the end of each financial year, prepare an account of the Civil Contingencies Fund, and such account shall, on or before the fifteenth day of October next after the expiration of that financial year be submitted to the Comptroller and Auditor General, and be audited by him. (2) On or before the fifteenth day of November next following the submission of any such account to him the Comptroller and Auditor General shall send a copy thereof as audited by him to the Ministry, and the Ministry shall lay the same before the House of Commons on or before the thirtieth day of the last-mentioned month, if Parliament is then sitting, or, if not, within one week after Parliament next meets thereafter.
