6.(1) Subject to the following provisions of this Act, the Ministry of Commerce (in this Act referred to as "the Ministry") may make to any person making an application in that behalf a grant in respect of (a)the execution, in or to any premises to which this section applies, of works of such a description as may be prescribed; (b)the construction of any building for use as an hotel, a guest house or a boarding house if the Ministry is satisfied that the building will, when completed, be one to which this section applies. This section applies to the following premises and buildings, that is to say (a)any hotel entered in the register of hotels maintained under section 10 of the principal Act; (b)any guest house entered in the register of guest houses maintained under that section; (c)any boarding house entered in the register of boarding houses and apartment houses maintained under that section; and (d)any premises which the Ministry is satisfied will, after the execution of the works, qualify for registration in any of those registers; Supplemental provisions as to grants.
