Punishment for offences against this Act. 45A.(1) If any person has in his possession any thing which has been imported in contravention of an order of the Department he shall be guilty of an offence against this Act. (2) Where a person is charged with an offence under sub-section (1) and he satisfies the court that he had no reason to suppose the thing to have been unlawfully imported, and that he took all reasonable precautions and exercised all due diligence to avoid the commission of such an offence, the charge against that person shall be dismissed.]
