36.(1) For the purposes of this Act there shall be established, under the control and management of the Ministry, a fund to be called "the Northern Ireland Redundancy Fund" (in this Part referred to as "the fund"), [into which there shall be paid all sums received by the Ministry under this Part, and] out of which payments shall be made in accordance with the following provisions of this Act. (2) The Ministry shall prepare accounts of the fund in such form, in such manner and at such times as the Ministry of Finance may direct, and shall send them to the Comptroller and Auditor-General; and the Comptroller and Auditor-General shall examine and certify the accounts and shall lay copies thereof, together with his report thereon, before Parliament. (3) Any moneys forming part of the fund may from time to time be paid over to the Ministry of Finance and by that Ministry invested in any [such manner as may be specified by an order of the Treasury for the time being in force under section 22(1) of the National Savings Bank Act 1971]. (4) The Ministry of Finance shall certify a statement of the securities in which moneys forming part of the fund are for the time being invested, and that statement so certified shall be included with the accounts of the fund laid before Parliament under subsection (2).
