Power of Ministry of Home Affairs to arrange for emigration of children. 117.(1) Notwithstanding any agreement made in connection with the placing of a child in a voluntary home under this Part by [the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry] may at any time, and if required so to do by ... the managers of the home shall, remove the child from the home. (2) Where possible a child in the care of [the Ministry of Home Affairs] shall not be placed in a voluntary home unless the person in charge thereof is of the same religious persuasion as the child or gives an undertaking that the child will be brought up in that religious persuasion and, in any event, no child in the care of [the Ministry] shall be placed in a voluntary home which does not afford facilities for him to receive instruction in the religious persuasion to which he belongs.
