1872 c.58 401. Notwithstanding sub-section (1) of section twenty-nine of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland), 1954 (which provides that where an Act repeals and re-enacts, with or without modification, any provisions of a former Act, references in any other Act to the provisions so repealed shall, unless the contrary intention appears, be construed as references to the provisions so re-enacted) (a)references, in whatever terms, in any Act other than this Act to a subsidiary company as defined by the Companies Act (Northern Ireland) 1932, shall be construed in like manner as if this Act had not passed; (b)references in any Act other than this Act to a company formed and registered, or registered, under the Companies Act (Northern Ireland), 1932, shall, unless the contrary intention appears, be construed as references to a company formed and registered, or registered, under that Act or this Act.
