Inspection of books by creditors and contributories. 239.(1) The court may, at any time after making a winding-up order, make such order for inspection of the books and papers of the company by creditors and contributories as the court thinks just, and any books and papers in the possession of the company may be inspected by creditors or contributories accordingly, but not further or otherwise. (2) Nothing in this section shall be taken as excluding or restricting any statutory rights of (a)a department of the Government of Northern Ireland; or (b)a department of the Government of the United Kingdom; or (c)a person acting under the authority of a department of either such Government.
