Powers of officer to whom accounts are transmitted. 119. The officer to whom the said statements shall be transmitted as aforesaid shall examine the same, and shall call the trustee to account for any misfeasance, neglect, or omission which may appear on such statements, and may require the trustee to make good any loss the estate of the bankrupt may have sustained by such misfeasance, neglect, or omission. If the trustee fail to comply with such requisition of such officer, such officer may report the same to the Court; and the Court, after hearing the explanation, if any, of the trustee, shall make such order in the premises as it thinks just.]
