Interpretation. 7. In this Act "coal" means (a)bituminous coal, cannel coal, coke, anthracite; and (b)manufactured fuel (other than coke) which is carbonised to any extent in the process of manufacture and of which any of the substances mentioned in paragraph (a) hereof is the principal constituent; "Minister" and "Ministry" have the meanings assigned to them by sub-section (1) of section one; ["oil" means petroleum oil, coal tar and oil produced from coal, shale, peat or any other bituminous substance, and liquid hydrocarbon other than such hydrocarbon as is gaseous at a temperature of 16 degrees Centigrade (which is equivalent to 60.8 degrees Fahrenheit) and under a pressure of one atmosphere;] "public gas or electricity undertaking" means an undertaking whose principal business is the production of gas or electricity for public use; "registered person" means a person registered in accordance with an order made under, or continued in force by, this Act.
